Can
someone else other than myself drive the vehicle?
Yes they can but you must pay an additional drivers insurance and the
drivers’ licence must be presented at time of rental.
Why don't we display prices?
We do not show prices on the Website as we prefer to quote on an individual,
more personal basis as very often we receive unusual requests and from
time to time we run seasonal offers and promotional events.
Car sizes?
Keep in mind European vehicles are typically smaller than in the US, so
make sure you get one big enough to suit your needs.
What type of petrol can one use?
UK petrol stations are almost all self-service. All British Car Rental
vehicles use either unleaded petrol (gas) or diesel (derv). To calculate
how much you're putting in your tank: 1US gal. = 3.79 litres, 1 UK gal
= 1.2 U.S. gal.
What is the parking like in UK cities?
In major cities, parking areas designated as 'blue zones' for short term
parking (1 to 1.5 hours), 'green zones' for longer periods, and 'red zones'
where parking is prohibited. Some cities also use parking meters, so be
sure to check for - and feed - the meter if there is one.
